ALSO Youth is a Non-Profit Charity that provides peer support services, educational programs, advocacy, and referrals for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, intersex, and questioning youth ages 13 to 21, their families and friends, and the community, thereby enhancing self-esteem, promoting healthy dialogue, and increasing awareness of sexual minority youth issues.
ALSO Youth's mission is to provide Advocacy, Leadership, Support, and Outreach to LGBTQIA youth and their allies.
Their vision is that all persons live their lives with dignity, honesty, and pride, regardless of their real or perceived sexual orientation or gender identity.

The local chapter was organized in January 2001 to advocate and educate in our community for separation of church and state. We are comprised of religious, educational, and community leaders, people from different religious faiths and no faith, and people with different political and philosophical viewpoints. We share a common commitment to church-state separation and individual freedom.

We are against police brutality and support efforts to house and feed the homeless.
